Palisades Fire victim - Restoring my Roon System

I’m a Roon Life subscriber. This is the least of my problems right now, having lost everything in the Palisades Fire, but can someone give me assurance that as a life subscriber I will one day be able to restore my library with from another copy of my library and a backup of my Roon core setting in Dropbox using my existing life membership? It will be sometime before I even attempt this on new equipment in a new residence. But I do love Roon. Just a reassurance that this is a possibility would be comforting.

Thank you

Yes, the restore will be possible if you have the Roon database backup and a copy of the music files.

Saying “good luck” seems silly but good luck with everything.

Very sorry to hear this.

If music helps keeping you sane in difficult times you could consider putting your roon setup on a stand alone laptop temporarily.

Will obviously have none of the quality of what you’ve lost - but at least you can play your music.

I have a set-up like this for travelling.

I don’t know if this is still the case but please see this post. Advice is to restore from a downloaded physical copy of the Dropbox backup due to speed and download limits. Best of luck.
