Parition Music Folder

Is there any advantage to creating partition directories for the main library beyond the obvious scan time (which doesn’t take long based on my servers)? I have 232624 tracks, so if there is an upper limit to how many files can be in the folder, would like to create a new partition going forward for new titles. Thanks in advance for any advice you might have.

Unlikely. This will predominately depend on the disk format and operating system of your core, which you didn’t tell, but Google tells me that e.g. exFAT has a limit of 2,796,202 files per file system. NTFS has 4,294,295. ext4 (Linux, RoonOS) by default has 4 billion, HFS+ (Mac) the same. Old HFS has just 64,000 but you obviously are not using that
