  1. Move the Roon window to a different position on screen, for example, the bottom-left corner. Does the flashing band move with the window?

  1. Switch Windows to Dark mode. Go to Settings → Personalization → Colors, and set “Choose your mode” to Dark. Your screenshots show you’re currently in Light mode. Hi @peugeot208gti,

Do you have any UI overlay software, like screen dimmers or temperature control (F.lux, Windows Night Light)? The tone of the screen captures you’ve shared seems to show that a dimming overlay is applied, and elements intermittently escape. We’re not able to tell from the menu bar specifcally what might be running, but in the absence of any other broader reports of this issue from users with your same OS and graphics drivers, we have to assume there’s a third-party software interfering here.

I was having the same issues with the Roon app flickering on my pc when in dark mode. I disabled VRR on my Nvidia card when using the Roon app and set it to fixed. This stopped the flickering.

I am not using f.lux or Windows Night Light. Could you specify exactly which third-party software you are referring to?

Thank you for the information. In my case, the issue isn’t resolved even after changing various settings on my Intel Arc graphics card.

I suppose any software that dims the screen or changes its color temperature might qualify. In addition to Windows Night Light and F.lux there is, for instance:

@Suedkiez is spot on, really any software that touches screen settings. MSL afterburner is another one to check for.
