I’m having trouble finding the pathway to use with dbPoweramp and downloads. The screenshot shows my settings/storage page. The words below Music Folder don’t work. I’m using a Sonic Transporter for my server and an external HDD for my music which is in the watched folder. How do I get the right pathway?
If the HDD is attached to your sonic-transporter then the path should be:
/storage/music1
The path you have currently is for the sonic-transporter’s internal SSD
Thanks. That explains how two albums wound up on the ST drive. Question: how am I supposed to know this?
Tried to add a watched folder with that path and the message said it was invalid–didn’t work.
Hi Ken,
Let’s drop a flag for @agillis to assist with best practice in accessing a USB off the Sonic Transporter. It sounds like the solution may be mapping the external USB on the Sonic Transporter as a network drive, but I think it’s best to let Andrew guide you here.
Go to sonicorbiter.com on a web browser on your network you will then see a menu with one option being QuickStart guide. Select this and select sonictransporter. Read the instructions there about how to attach and properly mount a USB drive. The path I gave you should then work.
I prefer not to mount it as read only so I can then see it on my network and copy files to it that way.
Typically the USB drive would be /storage/music/flac/usb
This is already indexed by Roon be default. Did you select a different mount location?

I’m pretty sure I just left the default but can’t be sure as it was several months ago now.
Did a short TeamViewer with agillis today and problems solved. Great customer support.
