More and more devices have pen support.
Keep these annotations with the album metadata.
Ok, it’s not the highest priority, like mobility.

Neat idea, but more difficult than it might seem. In Album view, what happens when you add an album and they all move? Same thing in the other view to an extent, Roon would need to know what the scribbles are supposed to be attached to so it can do the right thing when displaying the content on a different-sized screen.
Interesting nonetheless.

This should be a Feature Request ( I can move it for you if you want Anders). One thing to think about with Feature Requests is how the suggestion would play out with multiple users of the system. Having worked on Document Annotation differentiated by User in an online document management system, it is a trickier problem than you might think.
And if you draw a triangle over an album, it should just start playing, and you should be able to pause by drawing two short vertical parallel lines. It’s a different paradigm but why not?
I expect Roon 15.8 will do all of this.
