With the Loudness Wars going our of control, there was a suggestion on CA by Mitch Barnett for a software tool that helps with reduction of Dynamics and digital clipping. In the process of restoring the clipped parts the software does help restore/improve dynamic by some extent. (It is clear that 100% recovery is not possible)

Might integrating something like this within Roon be a feature of interest?
