When I try to setup an external drive I get a message that there are no permissions. How do I get permission to get into an external drive?

Hi @Clifford_Brown,

I’m assuming this drive shows up in Disk Utility? Can you access it in Finder? The Sequoia update has changed privacy around network access and device access.

As an aside, for due diligence, in System Settings → Privacy & Security, make sure Roon has Local Network access.

Then try this:
First, disconnect the device. Back in Privacy & Security, click “Allow accessories to connect”, select “Ask every time”, then connect the USB drive, and select “Allow accessories to connect.” again.
