· Permissions issue on new Galaxy Tab S10+ (Android 16 / OneUI 8). During install, no prompts to allow permissions occur. After install, the only permission available is Notifications - can't add others. Tablet and Server ARE on same home network. App finds Roon Server, I see my Home screen and data, but am unable to ENABLE the Tablet audio and play music. Roon Arc works fine on the same tablet (pres using different access).

· Netgear ORBI (1 Router, 2 Satellites). Netgear / D-Link Gigabit Ethernet switches - Roon Server running on Mac Mini cabled to a switch. No VPN in use, though I have IPVanish loaded on the tablet.
FYI: I just loaded Connectbot to run a local shell - the tablet IS able to ping the IP of the Roon Server just fine, which I would expect, but is now verified.
Additional testing reveals that the installed instance of Roon is able to operate normally to remote devices, so it appears that the primary issue is not being able to ENABLE the local audio resources on the tablet itself.
I have tried uninstalls / cleanup / Reboot / Reinstalls several times to no avail. When I launch Roon, it does find my server, and my Home screen shows as normal. I can choose a remote destination, and all works fine - BUT - there is no way I can enable the audio on the tablet itself.
Close examination of Apps / Permissions shows that the ROON App is there, but has a “No Permissions” state. I cannot use Permission Manager, as the article suggested, to add Roon as it does not appear as an App choice under any individual permission.
I have attached a PDF with some screen-grabs for you to look at.
Hi Alex. I can confirm that this has fixed my issue. I have tested both the Google Play Store and the downloadable APK versions of the app, and both now can set local Audio options. Interestingly, while the Android app now works as expected, it still shows “No Permissions" in the App section. Whatever, I am now a happy camper. Thank you for your help guys…
