I suppose you are using Windows? One icon should be “Roon”, the other “Roon Server”. This is normal. These run as separate programs.
The “Roon Server” is the background process (no window) that handles the heavy work (such as all actual playback), while “Roon” is the graphical control app. If you don’t have a separate Roon Server machine, then both run on the same machine, and “Roon” will normally autostart “Roon Server”. But some people use separate machines and may want to use only one or the other.
It is unclear what you are referring to because this is your first post on the forum. Were you in contact with Roon Labs by email?
when i open Roon i get the screen resolution is too small. I found a response online indicating changing compatibility, which i did but are still receiving this error.

Hi @apanella54, thanks for the clarification and for quoting the error you are seeing.
The two desktop icons are normal if you have both Roon and Roon Server installed on the same Windows machine. One is the control app, and the other is the background service that handles playback and library tasks.

Okay I think i have solved the issue and it was not the Roon article on DPI Setting. I left the resolution at 1920x1080 but changed the scaling from 150 to 125 and that parameter change made the difference.
Also is there a way to group my Sonos speaker system with my PSAudio Airlens if I wanted music in all my possible systems?
I don’t think so since Sonos is it’s own protocol. Roon can only group endpoints using the same protocol. So, if both the Sonos and Airlens use Airplay, for example, you might be able to group them using that protocol. I don’t own either product so have no direct experience.
