Describe the issue

When I open the app, I'm told "Waiting for Roon Server." Roon has access through my firewall and everything is on one computer. I have this problem all the time. I have been able to fix it by changing some of the setting to "Old" and reloading the app, but that doesn't always work. This seems to only be a temporary solution since this happens so often. I am running a Mac and connecting to KEF wireless speakers. No nucleus.

Describe your network setup

Quantum fiber wifi. Everything connected by cables directly to my Mac.

What is the OS version you’re running. If its mac os sequoia 15.? there are known issues.

Hi @Dawn_Vidoni,

The MacOS 15.x Sequoia Privacy & Security settings will intermittently restrict RoonServer and RAATServer’s local network access, disrupting both remote (control) and endpoint connectivity.

If you haven’t already enabled Local network access in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network, please take that step for due diligence.

Please let us know if you’ve already tried this step.
