I like listening and surfing my collection. Over the years I have different versions of albums by favorite artists. Getting the correct cover identification and especially images of backs and special disc faces makes surfing on Roon a fun way to enjoy my collection which includes digitized records and tapes.
While I like some HiRez versions from my Qobuz subscription I find them lacking any visual fun (except for a few with PDF booklets).
Scanning and setup in Roon is time consuming but doing one artist at a time has been a never ending side project while listening. I like seeing the correct cover and especially the back.
