The Auralic Aries Mini will work when connected to a Phantom with an SPDIF optical cable. I currently use a Lindemann Limetree Bridge (https://lindemann-audio.de/products/limetree-series/bridge/?lang=en) connected to one of my pair of Phantom Golds with an SPDIF cable - it’s Roon Ready and can be set to automatically upscale to a max 192 KHz. Works perfectly with the recently released DOS2 firmware for the Phantoms and allowed me to stop using the Dialog that was needed previously.
