Pi-DAC+ as an HQP NAA

Wayne
The error your are getting with Rene’s method says that the version you have of
libstdc++6 is 4.9.2-10, but version
libstdc++6 5.2 or higher is required for the NAA software

So you need to update the version you have. Whilst Rene’s way be more interesting for the competent Linux bods, Jussi’s image will have all the dependencies sort out for us Linux newbies.

Paul,

All sorted now with your method. Guess I failed my linux exam :laughing: sorry @RBM

Cheers to you both.

No buffering at all through the i2s which I was often getting through USB-HQP

For the sake of completeness: it looks like not all packages were upgraded to the Stretch versions (see 6). May want to run apt-get upgrade (or even dist-upgrade) again.

But glad to see you’re up and running. Please notice that step 13 applies to @weedos’s method as well. :slightly_smiling:

@andybob: thanks for splitting the thread. Better to keep NAA nerdery out of the general PiDAC discussion!
