Pi3, issues with ethernet?

Just checking to see if anyone else has seen these issues;
I have Pi3 which is used for Kodi duties mostly, but right now it is being used as a trial unit.
It is loaded with the latest Raspian Jessie Lite, updated and upgraded. The Roon Bridge for Arm is installed and it worked reasonably well, other than the fact that DSD was just a lot of static, and HiRez had some pops and clicks.
This was while using USB output to an SMSL M8 DAC. Didnt matter if connected by WLAN or LAN.

Now, i recently recieved my SabreBerry and of course immediately installed it.
To give it the best possible treatment it was connected with an ethernet cable.

After pulling my hair for a while i realised i had to add the dtoverlay=hifiberry-dac to config.txt for it to show up in Roon!

Perfect, everying just fine! …for a couple of minutes…After a few minutes into a song the playback stopped and the Pi3 RAAT endpoint disappeared from my Roon controller. Hmmm, it appeared again?
I tried this a few times and every time the playback stopped and the Pi seemed to reset itself.
I have disabled bluetooth and a couple of times i ssh’ed into it and stopped the WLAN, but nothing helped.

So i pulled the ethernet cable from it and thought id give it a try with WLAN. It has been connected and playing music without interruption for over 10hours now. Not one glitch, not even with DSD material?

During all of these tests nothing has been connected other than the mentioned options… Power supply is a 12W Apple unit and even a 1Amp Logitech charger, both have given the same results.
(The Apple unit is necessary when powering a 2.5" harddrive with Kodi)

I am seriously thinking of ditching the Pi3 in favour of a Pi2 for audio duties?
(I have one which is flawless, in use in another room, with a Digi+ SPDIF HAT)

As far as I know Pi’s have bandwidth issues when Ethernet and USB are used concurrently as they share the same bus.

Thanks @evand , the issue with USB devices is accknowledged. The issue here is basically that the Pi3 works just fine with WLAN, but not while using Ethernet? (Nothing at all attached to USB at the time, just plenty of Power and the SabreBerry)
And, no, its not an issue with the wired network as i have other devices working just fine on the same end of the cable.
(obviously not at the same time)

Bit late to the party here, but I’ve been using a RPi3 for a couple of weeks via ethernet, USB out to a DiDiT DAC212XLR and I’ve not had a single dropout. Also using Raspbian Jesse Lite and Roon Bridge. Hi-res PCM seems fine, as is DSD up to 128. I did upgrade the PSU slightly to an iFi iPower.

Thanks for your input @pedalhead
I dont see any reason for this behaviour either… I will try some other combinations when im back from the holidays.
