Because I have so many favourite artists, I would like to be able to place a few most favourite artists at the front of the favourite artists view, to select them and pin them to head the list.

I created a Tag , 01 - Classical Artists Major (the 01 keeps it at the top)
Then goto the Artist page , 3 dot menu add to tag
Clever. Thanks, Mike. I would still rather have my most favorite artists pinned with all the rest, but that is a solution.
