This looks suspiciously similar - including the freeze with Focus (I and others had a crash) - like an issue that was reported in Early Access with Build 1405, the build before the current production release. I had never experienced this before:
(and other posts linked from there). Disappeared again with the new EA 1409.
Yes, looks familiar indeed. To add some extra info: there is no focus set when it occurs. Some people experienced freezing when they had a focus set (even on other remotes). That’s not the case here.

It looks like, finally after 6 months, this bug is fixed in the latest update. Pfff.
Let’s hope so, I’ve been on early access for last two builds and it’s been a lot better,still get the app needing to restablish connection which is iOS just putting it to sleep, but no silent crashes so far.
Still no freezes. This latest build version 1413 seems to solve this longstanding bug.
