Play Button Does Not Work

Unmanaged Switch, all devices are wired with cat 6 Ethernet cable

Connected Audio Devices

Zone 1. Ethernet Switch with SFP Slot has the sonicTransporter plugged into it with Ethernet cable & the opticalRendu is connected with fiber through the SFP. The opticalRendu is plugged into my DAC with a USB cable. This zone works just fine.

Zone 2. Same type Ethernet switch is connected to a Sonore opticalModule deluxe through the SFP using fiber & the opticalModule is then connected to my DAC with an Ethernet cable. The DAC is a Gold Note DC-10 Plus which is Roon ready.

Number of Tracks in Library

Not sure of the number of tracks, but I have just over 1000 albums

Description of Issue

I enabled the DC-10 in the Roon ready section of the Roon software using my iPad. When I switch from the Rendu from zone 1 to the DC-10 in zone 2, the play button lightens up & no longer functions.

Hi and welcome here from a fellow user!

This might be a dumb suggestion, but since it says “Nothing playing” it seems you should back out of settings and then select something to play from the main menu, as in my screenshot…

Following up on this thread, are you still running into issues with your play button?

If so, can you please confirm that this issue only happens on the iPad? If so, we’ll need to grab a set of manual Roon logs from the device. Please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader.
