Play Counts Seem Off in ARC

After a few weeks of using ARC after the Tailscale integration, things have been going pretty well, there are a few things and one of them is play counts. I tend to listen through classical composers “complete works” albums while I work. However, I cannot see any play counts in ARC, so it is difficult to pick up where I left off in ARC. Instead I need to note which disc or track I’m on and continue from there. Now, that is a minor inconvenience that I can work-around that I hope RoonLabs will eventually fix but this morning I noticed something more serious. The play counts from my last listen from the office using ARC are way off! See attached screenshot:

Disc 19, is me listening from home right now. Disc 20 was me listening to that yesterday from the Office on ARC. I definitely did not listen to that disc on repeat. Notice that the play count decreases to 1 eventually. Not sure that reveals anything. There were a lot of start/stops yesterday because I was continually interrupted by co-workers but I didn’t start over on the disc when I resumed.

I saw another play count issue posting about infinite plays but I’m not sure this is related. Anyway, I’ve never seen this play count issue before over the past several weeks since I’ve been using ARC in earnest.

Hi, @J_B, could you please try the latest build for RoonServer and Roon ARC and see if it’s still possible to reproduce this issue?

Thanks!

Ivan

I’ve updated to the latest, and will attempt tomorrow.

Ok, so two days of testing and I haven’t seen this problem re-occur. I think you fixed it!
