Playback issue on Bootcamp Windows with Roon Server set to ROCK (ref#5914T1)

· The System Output has the same problem as my other Zone.

· Both the device and RoonServer are connecting to a *single router*

Macbook 2019 bootcamp windows: "Too many failures, stopping playback" when using system output. This happens only on Windows OS, even I set the server to ROCK core kit. It doesn't have any issue when I use MacOS

I ask the network vender set the fixed IP to the ROCK so I can use Arc.

Using virtualization isn’t a supported configuration; you’d fare better installing the macOS version of Roon. Nonetheless, I’ll leave this thread in the Support category, so Roon support staff may reply.

Important: You should not expose the computer hosting Roon to the Internet using a DMZ. This is unsafe; only port forwarding is needed.

I’ve moved your post over to Tinkering since as @Martin_Webster mentioned, virtualization isn’t supported and others may be able to provide better insight into this kind of configuration. If all of your inputs on the Windows PC are failing to play, then I would suggest checking Antivirus/Firewalls. If it is just System Output impacted, you may want to check the audio drivers, or zone settings, some zones expect multichannel output or certain sample rates.
