Great to hear everything is working! Just to clarify - restoring a backup does not downgrade your Roon version, you are still running 2.67. The “2.66” you saw was the version stamp on the backup file itself rather than the current server version.
The scan mode behavior you experienced was most likely caused by database corruption that occurred during the power-down. The backup restore cleared that and everything is back to normal.
