Evaluating a U2X as a streamer to my MSB Premier DAC. But I cannot get the U2X to playback over USB to the MSB DAC when using Roon.
If I use e.g. Qobuz Connect from the Lumin app, playback over USB works, so I doubt this is a hardware issue.
Using the dedicated DAC USB connector on the Lumin U2X.
Any ideas?
Mystery solved. Turns out you cannot have the MSB DAC enabled as a MSB DAC Renderer and a MSB USB DAC in Roon at the same time. This causes the Lumin to not be able to start playback.
Side note; A Sotm-2000 streamer does not have this issue (for some reason), thats why i took a while to find.
Did you keep the U2X? How are you getting on with it?
