Can we kindly ask that you let us know the exact local time + date + track when you notice the next issue occur, and let us know so that we can check the logging for clues regarding the failure?
Additionally, can you please confirm that other zones work as expected other than the Meridian 2? This will give us a good data point to know if to focus on the device or the general setup.

What music source are you using? A streaming service or local files?
Skipping every 30 seconds sounds like you are trying to use a trial subscription to a streaming service from within Roon. The use of such trial subscriptions within Roon is not supported.
