Playback issues with track skipping and non-gapless playback on Nucleus One (ref#MV4OMS)

Describe the issue

Hi. I’m mostly very happy with Roon but have two issues. I have a Nucleus One and a good local broadband speed. Firstly there are times when, as the music segues from track to track it clips (or sometimes jumps more than a minute into) the new track. And when I ask it to play from, say, Track 2 it will skip straight on to Track 3. Secondly the playback is often not gapless - Roon inserts a tiny pause between tracks where the intention is that they play without one. It’s odd. If I play the same music directly from Qobuz there’s no problem but if I access Qobuz through Roon the gaps appear. I listen primarily to classical music and the gaps can be very frustrating! All help and advice gratefully received. Best wishes. Mark

Hello @mark3

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

I think the next step here is to enable some diagnostics on your account so our technical staff can get some more insight into what’s going on here.

However, before I enable this feature, I’d like to ask for your help ensuring we gather the right information.

First, can you please reproduce the issue once more and note the time at which the error occurs. Then respond here with that time, and I’ll make sure we review the diagnostics related to that timestamp.

Thanks - will do.

Sounds like a plan, @mark3 . Please let us know when you have those timestamps avaliable to share (and if possible the track/artist it is transitioning from→ to), and we’ll take a look. Thanks!
