Playback on a second macbook

I have a work macbook as well as my own. Everything works great on my macbook but on the work one there isn’t an option to output on the local device. I saw this in another thread and the instructions to fix were PM’d. My Core is running on my NAS. I see my personal macbook as playback targets on the work macbook.

Did you go to Settings > Audio to enable the devices? Or can’t you see any devices?

Do you have the same Apple ID on both MacBooks?

Can’t see any devices for the local machine.

Try turning off the firewall, or at least allow incoming connections for Roon… if you’re running Ventura it’s moved to Settings > Network > Firewall > Options, before it was in Preferences > Security > Firewall
