Hi @John_Gage,

If this is occurring with Qobuz, Tidal, and/or KKBOX music, then you’re most likely inadvertently signed out of those services and restricted to a thirty-second playback sample.

First, navigate to Settings → Services and log out of Tidal, Qobuz, KKBOX, or any streaming services you use with Roon.

Then, navigate to the web account pages for those same services (Tidal here, Qobuz here), and sign out there as well.

Now, go back into Roon Settings and sign back into Qobuz and Tidal with the same credentials. Do you still find dropouts at precisely 0:30?

Yes, I did what you suggested and it made no difference.

Hey @John_Gage,

Thanks for giving that a try!

As a next step, could you double-check the firewall settings on your Mac, and make sure Roon is set as a proper exception? Here’s more info on that:

An easy test can also be to temporarily disable your mac firewall and see if the same issue occurs.

Let us know the results of this! If your issues persist, itd be worth testing out using the Tidal app directly and see if you encounter the same issue. :+1:

I’ve had this issue a few times and re-booting the Mac and then re-connecting the USB to the DAC to my iMac helped

Thanks, I’ll try this.

I have resolved the issue which it turns out was caused by Tidal.
