Hey @Herman_Beun,

Thanks for the report! We were able to review a fresh diagnostic report from your Roon Server and see that the good news is that this wasn’t a problem with your setup. Your network, the UniFi switch, the Ethernet connection, and your Lyngdorf TDAI-3400 were all working correctly throughout. This was a temporary problem on Qobuz’s end with one specific track.

The Mahler track “Erinnerung” was playing normally and then stalled about halfway through. Roon needed the next small chunk of audio to keep going, and Qobuz’s servers kept responding to the request, but the responses came back empty, with no actual audio data in them. Roon retried that same chunk automatically for about an hour (roughly 16,000 times) before Qobuz finally returned an “expired/gone” response and Roon gave up on the track.

That also explains why nothing else on Qobuz would start: while Roon was stuck retrying that one track, it was holding the Qobuz streaming pipeline open, so anything new you tried to play just queued up behind it. Once the stuck track timed out, playback freed up on its own, and by the next morning your logs show Qobuz playing to the Lyngdorf perfectly again.

Logging out and back into Qobuz correctly made no difference, because this was never a login issue, so that’s not something you did wrong.

If you ever hit this again, the fastest way to clear it (instead of waiting out the timeout) is to restart Roon Server, which resets the stuck streaming session immediately.

If it happens repeatedly on the same track specifically, that points to a problem with that particular file on Qobuz’s side, and it’s worth reporting to Qobuz directly with the album and track name.

Everything looks healthy on your end now, but if the problem comes back, especially across different tracks, let us know and we’ll take another look. :+1:

Hey @Herman_Beun,

Just checking in on this, have you had a chance to try restarting your Roon Server if the Qobuz track gets stuck again? If the issue shows up on the same Mahler track, that would point to a problem with that file on Qobuz’s side, and it would be worth reporting the album and track name to Qobuz directly. If anything changes or you see it happening on other tracks too, reply here and let us know.

Please note, if we don’t hear back from you this thread may close automatically soon. If the thread auto-closes and you need further assistance, please submit a reopen support request via the technical support help form below and specify that the issue should be reopened. Thank you.
