Hello @Martin_Southard ,

Thanks for reaching out. How are you playing to the Denon, via Roon Ready, Airplay or is it connected in some other way? Which other zone have you tried playback to, and that zone was impacted?

Can you please use these instructions to access your RoonServer logs, upload a set to the below link, and let us know once uploaded?

I have sent you the zipped RoonServer logs as requested

I am playing it through HEOS Roon Ready. I only appear to be able to play it through the Main Zone but that could be due to my technical abilities.

Hi @Martin_Southard,

Thank you for your patience.

Logs show Roon receiving a “source no longer selected” message from the HEOS receiver. Roon is attempting to transport the audio stream, but the Denon has auto-switched to another digital source input.

Auto-switching can sometimes be sensitive on this particular unit:

Look in the HDMI settings on the Denon for an “auto-switching” feature. Try disabling that and see if it helps.

If you can’t find this setting or toggling it off makes no difference, then we’ll need to investigate whether network settings might be prompting the Denon to look for another digital input. In either case, we fortunately don’t see evidence of the Denon and RAAT/Roon behaving incorrectly during audio transport. This is just a simple issue of input selection, possibly exacerbated by some other variables.

We’ll watch for your response. Thank you!

Hi,
Many thanks for looking jnto this for me.Have arranged a replacement as it is having trouble with other music services now - not just Roon so will see how it goes :crossed_fingers:

Hello @Martin_Southard ,

Thanks for letting us know, let us know how the replacment performs once it arrives!
