Playback stops with 'Too many failures' error message (ref#LYFQMO)

· On the same machine where RoonServer is running, internal drive

Please try playing content of a lower sample rate (44.1kHz or 48kHz), does this work as expected?

· No, lower sample rates are still affected

Do you have an approximate timestamp of when the issue last occurred?

· I still haven´t heard any music.

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

· hp computer 2013

When I try to play any music I get the message Too many failures.Stopping playing

The issue you are facing might be an indicator of the known problem for some Windows users.

Can you please tick “Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device” checkbox in windows and try to play the music again ?
