Description Of Issue
I am posting this again as I got no response the first time from Roon support and the topic was closed.
I have a few tracks that won’t play. I get the message “Playback was interrupted bacuse a track failed to load”. This happens on my Trinnov zone as well as my iMac zone. I have rebooted Roon Server, the NAS and my router. Also copied the tracks to the local drive. These tracks have played OK in the past but I’m not sure when this behavior started. They don’t show up as corrupt in the inspector. I navigated to the tracks on my Sonicorbiter internal drive and double clicked on them and they played fine (on my iMac i9) via VLC media player. There didn’t appear to be any problems or corruption that I could hear. Still won’t play via Roon. What can I do to get these to play. And how do I identify if there are any others lurking in my database?
Hello @John_Swanson_Swanson, my apologies that I missed your last thread. I’d appreciate it if you could upload the log file you got that snippet from and the tracks in question to this folder. Please let me know when you do so I can test those tracks on my end and get your logs to our team! Thanks again for your patience on this one and let me know when you’ve had a chance to upload those files!
Hello @John_Swanson_Swanson, and my apologies for the delayed response on this thread. I have tested the track you sent me and passed it along to our team here as well. We aren’t having issues playing this particular track. Are you still having issues with this track?
