· Let's say I scrolled really far down my playlist to play a song. I then click the album to browse other songs I like from said album. Clicking back used take me back to the exact place I was at in the playlist.
Today I just noticed that clicking back will always load the playlist from the top. Really annoying since I have almost 600 tracks in my playlist.
Is there anyway to get back to the previous experience: scroll down several 100 tracks--> hit play --> click album --> hit back to resume browsing playlist from where I was (Not back at the beginning of the playlist)
I just tested this and do not see the behavior you’re describing.
I open a playlist with, say, 2100 songs. I scroll ¾ of the way down. I click an album link on one song. That takes me to the album page. I hit the “Back” icon in the upper left of the interface, and it takes me back to the exact location in the playlist I was looking at in the first place.
Are you using that method, or are you going from the album page back to the general “Playlists” page and then clicking into the playlist you were looking at before? This latter set of actions will indeed take you to the top of the playlist. It’s also much slower and has a lot more clicks.
Hey Andrew, I’m doing it the same way you are. Scroll down the playlist, click on the album link from the column on the right, then click the back arrow top left. Doing that is taking me back to the beginning of the playlist. I recorded my screen: Recording 2026-05-02 180601
The team isn’t immediately able to reproduce this report but we’ll escalate your video to development and follow-up with next steps.
From your video, this is a Qobuz playlist that synced to Roon. Does this reproduce with playlists you’ve made within Roon? Try creating a Smart Playlist, for instance, that includes a broad focus filter (like a whole Genre).
Does this reproduce on any non-PC remote that you have?
I was not able to reproduce with smart playlists on PC, those are working fine. On my Android phone, both Qobuz and smart playlists are working fine. So it seems to only be affecting Qobuz playlists on PC.
