Playlist split [track duplication]

when I’m in a playlist, and I move a song up and I stop all the songs, going to the beginning of the top are split, I press the reset button and instantly everything becomes normal. The songs that are at the bottom are not split.

What does split mean? Duplicated, by any chance?

Yes
Duplicate

Then it sounds like the problem reported here,

Hi @Claude_pepin,

Developers are working on a solution for the issue you’ve reported - since there’s already a tracking thread in #earlyaccess, where the fix will release for texting, we’ll let this thread close for now.

You’ll see a fix announced in Software Release Notes as soon as the fix merges to a Production build. Thanks!

Hi, I have discovered a super painful bug with the latest version. I did not report it until now because I hoped someone else would and it would be fixed by now. I do not find your system intuitive, and it takes too much time, but I cannot stand it anymore, so reporting:

When I am in an EXISTING playlist, I will by moving song tracks up or down on the playlist (to get them in order of release date for example). each time I do that in ANY playlist, it doubles certain tracks. I have not found the exact pattern (e.g. a 200 song playlist does not double to 400) but it is adding a bunch of tracks.

Having said that, I have discovered it’s not REALLY doing that and sticking around. so if I click out of that playlist into another, it saved my changes, but total track list goes back to what it should be. But OMG it is difficult to edit in there when it does this. there will be two of everything, then three, then four. only way to not go insane is to constantly go out and back in (which also adds a lot of time to a simple edit).
