I migrated Roon from ROCK to a NUC running Ubuntu. The reason was that I wanted to store my music files on an internal SSD in the NUC. The migration — by copying the music folder and performing a backup and restore of the database — seemed successful. However, after some time I noticed that something was wrong with playlists, counts and favorites. The playlist issue is the most annoying one. The playlists still exist and are mostly intact, but random tracks — both from the internal drive and from Tidal are missing
Songs that I’m sure were marked as favorites before the migration no longer are, while others have kept their favorite status. There seems to be no clear pattern. Same for play counts. Some albums appear never played before, which is not true.
Another thing I noticed is that when I try to add a song to a playlist from an album page, it doesn’t seem to work immediately — the playlist link doesn’t appear right away. It only becomes visible after some time. Because adding songs initially seems to fail, I now have some tracks appearing multiple times in a playlist.
Is there a way to restore the playlists or perform some kind of database check or repair?
