I just returned to Roon after deciding to upgrade all my audio facilities because of a lot of working from home! I currently have:
- Running Roon Core on my PC, usually playing ripped CDs or Qobuz hi-res classical music
- Playing through HQ Player version 3
- Into an iFi xDSD
- Driving Hifiman Ananda headphones
It all sounds great but I’m interesting in whether I can optimise a bit further? Should I use HQPlayer to upsample to 384kHz? Or should I upsample to DSD, and if so what are the best settings?
