Please report station errors here

Hello @Marius ,thank you. I’ve updated the station info and added aac streams.

(Your URL forms look different to mine, but both re-direct to the same load sharing site. I’ve used the alternative form just so it’s clear that there is an alternative if ever needed.)

Thanks Brian! It works like a charm! No more drama

Hi Brian,
the following Radio Station doesn’t work anymore:
Tomorrowland One World Radio - DE
Tomorrowland Everyday

I’ve tried to add the TuneIn Radion Station link, bur this does also not work

Kind regards

I found this radio station somewhat confusing with a number of different descriptions.

However, Tomorrowland One World Radio, which didn’t work at first, now does. Are you still having problems?

Tomorrowland One World Radio - DE isn’t in the database, but seems to use the same stream.

I can’t find Tomorrowland Everyday (or at least, not one I am sure about)- can you provide a link please?

I have added Tomorrowland One World Radio - Anthems

Hi @BrianW,

There’s a problem with Sveriges Radio: P2. There are two stream URLs available for this radio station in Roon. The strange thing is that they lead to different radio stations. I think the FLAC address points to the correct station.

Best regards

You have stumbled over a bug in Roon - the non-flac stream is an HLS type which breaks up into chunks and there are a lot of them in this instance. Roon takes the oldest and not the newest.

I’ll hide that stream for now and see if I can find a better aac stream.

Seems Rondo Classic stations have stopped functioning or at least doing anything more than “buffering”.

Is this still the case? The stream URL seems ok, as is the website. However I am away from my setup so can’t check Roon.

Neither of the two listed stations are working at least for CD 44/16. Seems the basic one does work for MP3. I’ve moved on to Mother Earth which provides 192k 24bit with Naim as backup.

I’ve added an http stream for both Rondo stations. They should work - try now.

(I’m unclear as to why the https streams are failing, but it may be because they have changed the codec slightly)

Dear @stevebythebay :

The https FLAC streams for Rondo Classic: Klasu and Rondo Classic: Klasu Pro play in Roon for me; however, it takes roughly two minutes for playback to begin.

@BrianW : The http FLAC streams that you just added with port 8000 in the addresses (listed here at https://rondo.fi/nettiradiot) begin playing almost immediately for me.

Best regards,

RU

Thanks. I don’t know what may have happened recently that caused a change in the link. Once I returned and found your additions with the 8000 port and tested they both worked immediately. Now I can only hope the station can consistently stay “up” and not disconnect. Roon does not have the capacity to auto retry as it never monitors the source data stream for interruptions. But, as they say, “xxxx happens” to even the best stations, and I include Naim and numerous others.

Did I never say thank you? How rude. Sorry about that. And I’m back. The connection to KPFA doesn’t hold. Not much time passes before it deteriorates.

They do thanks BrianW!

I have made these the default for all Roon users in the directory.

Hmm, how long? Does it stop with an error message?

@BrianW and Team,

I’m getting an error message from my favorite station Radio Bluesllac out of Altea, Spain.

“Unable to play this station . . .”

The website is still up but not streaming.

bluesflac.com

Hope everything is alright over there. I really enjoy this station.

Thanks for your good work.

Yes, it seems to have been down for at least 10 hours.
