It was quiet for a while, but now albums that are no longer available are flashing again. This massively disturbs the enjoyment of music! I don’t want to replace every album that is no longer available, and I certainly don’t want to remove them.
In addition, the flashing is risky as it can cause seizures in visually sensitive people.
Please find another solution, a thick red button, frame or similar. The flashing is not good.

From my point of view, I only need technical support if it is not a standard behaviour and only relates to my installation. I assume that this is not the case. Whether it is a bug that the flashing has crept back in from an old version, or whether it is intentional, I cannot judge either.
I am also seeing this flashing of non-available Qobuz albums. Unbelievably annoying, especially if you have screenfuls of “other” albums all randomly flashing that you are trying to manually replace with available versions.
Edit: On a Windows 11 laptop as remote.
The grey ones are flashing, but Print Screen doesn’t capture that. If you cannot see the album cover it makes it beyond awkward navigating Qobuz looking for an available replacement:
Mine flashes also. Between plain grey and the album artwork. I hadn’t noticed it before, now I can’t unsee
It’s as if roon wants them to be grey squares, but instead of replacing the art it seems to be an overlay, and devices are freaking out when trying to render it.
This needs to be brought to the attention of Roon’s technical support team, with the appropriate details to enable them to diagnose the issue (the specific details of each report helping to build a full picture). Posting here in Roon Software Discussion will not do this, so I’m closing this topic.
