PlexAmp volume sets phones volume to 100% [SOLVED]

@spockfish , I have returned to using Ropieee after a few years. The current stable version is working very well.

I’m currently testing out PlexAmp.

I noticed there is no means to have no volume control such as the UPnP/DLNA and AirPlay.

As there isn’t, I need to set PlexAmps volume to full so that the output levels via my Preamp are (near) the same as other sources.

When I exit the PlexAmp amp on both Android and iOS, the devices volumes remain full and if you play something from another app via the devices speakers it is full blast.

Can the same volume control of none be applied to PlexAmp in Ropieee?

Also, the donate link has error upon making a payment.

It is the setting in your mobile app and Ropieee can do nothing to due with it.
Go to setup>playback>remote control> and disable the “use hardware volume”
Then your plexamp app no longer turn your volume

Thanks @N00brx :+1:

I had overlooked that :person_facepalming: as I thought I had already disabled it when in use with another device from my Android device (main remote) and failed to disable when testing on my iPad.
