Description of Issue

Hi @Gregor_Pompe,

Thank you for the report, and I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing issues.

Typically, errors like the one you see can be caused by a misconfigured Port Forwarding setting. Since you are not seeing Ready listed in Roon Settings -> Roon ARC, please look over this guide before proceeding.

If you have reviewed this guide and still have not resolved the issue, can you provide the following details about your network setup to help expedite troubleshooting?

  1. Who is your internet service provider?
  2. Please list the make and model of your modem and router, if any, other than the Time Capsule.
  3. Do you have any additional network hardware, like additional routers or managed switches?
  4. Does your network have any VPNs, proxy servers, or enterprise-grade security?
  5. What machine are you using as a Roon Core, and how is it connected to the internet?

Thanx, I read the “manual”. I tried to make a portforwarding rule and I have this half success, it works but not properly I think.

My answers:

  1. T-2
  2. Tne incoming modem is Innbox F60 and from that the ethernet cable goes to Apple Time Capsule (http://www.iskratel.com/en/files/default/Documents/Data-Sheet/Iskratel-Innbox-F60-Datasheet-EN.pdf)
  3. I have a switch. Between Nucleus and Time Capsule there is a switch.
  4. No.
  5. Roon Nucleus connected via ethernet.
