Possible to use Focus search through all Tidal content?

Maybe I’m missing something - but is it possible to use Focus to search all Tidal content? Not only content that I’ve added to my Library? I primarily listen to Tidal content, so my “Library” isn’t vey full, and doesn’t have much content to actually search though / focus on.

It seems like it’d be a great way to discover new music, and from my understanding, Roon already has Tidal’s catalog indexed in order to function as it does. However, I’ve only gotten it to search content I’ve already manually liked.

Even searching through my listen history (as I listed to a lot of radio) would be an improvement, but I’m not sure how much of that is stored/available to Roon.

Focus only looks at the contents of your Library. If you add Tidal albums/tracks to your library, then these will also be covered by Focus.

Right - but that doesn’t help me discover new music by the Genre/Year/Composer/etc criteria that Focus supports. I’d have to go blindly add all of Tidal’s content first (whether or not I actually want it in my library) just to be able to Focus search it.

Whilst this might be technically possible at the cloud-server end (it would be searching 60 million + tracks on Tidal alone) the Focus is local-only for good (performance) reasons. If Focus did search online I expect there would be complaints about delay and watching the Roon jellyfish whilst the search found and returned a huge number of results.

Other apps manage filters on Qobuz and Tidal content so i dont see why Roon can’t use focus to some degree. Even Qobuz app allows you to search by genre and labels.
