I just migrated to a ROCK NUC. In restoring my previous backup and attaching my external usb drive, I was able to keep as Favorites all my Tidal tracks that had been previosly marked as Favorites. But the Favorite tracks in my usb drive did not remain as Favorites. I suppose when I attached the external drive, Roon treated all the tracks as new. Any advice as to how to get my local (non-Tidal) Favorites back? Thanks!
Don’t add your USB as storage on your new instance.
You restore and then edit your restored storage location to point at your USB drive.
