If you continue to experience playback freezing when switching between tracks with different sample rates after updating to Roon version 2.57, along with the error message “Failed to initialize the audio device,” please reproduce the issue and provide the date, time, and name of the track you attempted to play.
After the error occurs, the audio device may temporarily disappear from Roon before reappearing.
