Where is your RoonServer running? A Mac with macOS 15 Sequoia? If so, this is a common issue that Roon Labs is investigating and there is a workaround in this post:

Hi @randy,
Thanks for reaching out to us to ask for help with this issue. We need more information before we proceed with troubleshooting. What make and model of audio device are you having trouble with? If this is a networked endpoint how is it connected?

I see your Roon server is a Mac running Sequoia. Like @Suedkiez said there is a known issue with Sequoia that can be addressed with the steps in the comment they linked.

Please try that and let us know the results.

I made the change and then rebooted which worked. Didn’t work without the shutdown. Thanks for your help. This has happened on both computers running updated Sequoia.

Hi @randy,

We’re working to implement a fix for the more secure network policing that Apple shipped with Sequoia. You may see RAATServer lose connection to Roon occasionally, and your local and/or networked devices might disappear.

Navigating to Privacy & Settings and toggling (on/off) local network access for RoonServer often successfully restores the connection. Shutting down the machine or restarting RoonServer (which you tried) will also work.

We’ll announce when a fix is in place for this issue in the thread linked above. Thanks!
