Tell us what's going on

· My ROON core is installed on an approved Intel NUC, and I use 3 control devices (iPad running iPADOS 26.3), Android mobile phone app and Windows 11 app. This afternoon when I started ROON app on my iPad, I was offered a software update which I chose to accept. However, after applying the update, I cannot connect to my ROON core on either my iPad or my Samsung phone. However, I can connect (and use ROON) via my app on my Windows 11 PC, so the core is running and working.

Tell us about your home network

· ROON core on Intel NUC connected to router over ethernet.

Windows 11 PC connected to network via ethernet, iPad and Android mobile apps connect via wi-fi. Update: one day later, iPad can now access ROON core ok. Samsung Android phone still 'Waiting for core'.

Hello @hmack,

Thanks for reaching out to Roon Support.

We noticed that your Roon Server is currently running an Early Access version.

To get it working with your Roon Remotes again, please follow the instructions here to roll back from Early Access to the production version: How do I leave the Early Access program?

Please let us know if this helps.

Thanks.

Hi @hmack,

A build or track parity issue can cause connection problems with Roon clients and the server. If you mix the Early Access branch with the public release or have different builds installed across your devices you can run into this symptom.

Diagnostics indicate that you might still be in this mixed-branch setup. Have you confirmed that you’ve switched your server and all clients either off or onto the Early Access release?
