Describe the issue

I have the following problem: After a software update, my Roon installation deleted the 2 files for the audio devices I had saved. Several restarts have shown no results. Please advise. Thx. Thomas

Describe your network setup

naim ND5 XS 2 and Muso Qb 2nd Gen

On macOS 15.x Sequoia?

FYI, the setups for the audio devices are most likely still defined in Roon. Roon doesn’t display those in the Audio setup or zone picker if they are not detected on your internal network. So something is stopping Roon from detecting the devices.

If your using something with MacOS 15.x Sequoia as @Suedkiez asked above - there on known issues there that could be causing the issue. Or it could be a network related issue.

Hey @Thomas_Wordehoff,

As both @Suedkiez and @Mike_LC mentioned, it looks like you’re running Roon Server on an iMac, can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network , and make sure Roon is allowed. If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.

We’ll be on standby for your reply! :raised_hands:

Hi Benjamin,

Your tip worked. I switched Roon off in the local network - restarted - switched Roon on again: And it worked. Many thanks to everyone involved.
