I have been a happy user of Roon for several years. I run the Rook Core Kit on an Intel Nucleus. All updates have been problem-free. But today I updated to Roon 2.50 Build 1528. After this, my Roon server cannot find my Linn Selekt DSM Edition. This is the one I stream music from in high sound quality. The server can send to my Linn Selekt DSM via AirPlay. But this is poor sound quality. My Roon server and Linn Selekt DSM Editon are connected via cable to the same network switch. Everything worked until today's update. Something must be wrong with Roon 2.50 Build 1528. I have also reinstalled it once again without any other result. What do I do?

If you not already have done that, try a Reboot from the Linn account:
The most recent update didn’t contain any updates to device discovery or Linn playback. If a reboot doesn’t resolve this, then let’s ensure the update hasn’t triggered some firewall, anti-virus software, or L3+ managed switch firmware to change the network pathway.
According to our diagnostic servers, a Linn device is actively registering with your ROCK that matches the description of your post. It appears to be on the same subnetwork as your RoonServer and relying on Linn’s native protocols (as well as Airplay). This indicates device announcement is functioning, but the machines can’t create a TCP handshake with the available network path.
I’d first ensure that multicast forwarding and IGMP snooping are enabled if those settings are available in this managed switch. Try bypassing the switch and connecting both units to your router directly as an A/B test.
We’ll watch for your response and work with you from there. Thank you!
