Description Of Issue

Some of my previously imported DSF files are not importing into Roon 1.8 - prime example is my DSD64 version of Peter Gabriel’s “US”, which formerly resided in my Roon library prior to updating to v. 1.8. I need all of my DSF files imported into this new version or I need to revert to prior stable Roon version until you get this figured out. Please advise. Thank you, Lon

What do you mean by “not importing”?

What do you see in?:

Settings → Library → Skipped files

I have quite a few sacd’s that I ripped to .iso images and then to .dsf to use with roon and haven’t had any problems with updates. Serveral of these files have gone through 5 years of roon updates without problems.

As speed_racer said, are there any logs in the skipped files section?

Never mind (and thank you Speed_Racer and ffk for your quick responses) - my DSF files are present and I found them. It would be very helpful if Roon displayed the file formats on the album icons presented in v. 1.8 in the same manner as with earlier versions; as it is, I just have multiple icons for different file versions of the same albums (I have to click into the icons to identify them, i.e., whether a DSD or FLAC version, which is cumbersome).

@Lon_Baugh

It’s an option:

Interesting. I had the bottom three options already toggled (I suppose they were default set “on” when I adopted v. 1.8, as I had no idea of where they were located), but had to undo and redo them in order for those settings to take effect; they are now displaying the information I desire. Thanks!
