Problem mounting 4 terabites on roonserver linux

hello I sorry if not the correct place or topic to answer my problem .
I had 4 internal 2tb e/o on the sata ports , and cant get mounted at start up, i had tried with accessories/disc/edit automount option or some likethat and renamed the storages pls any step by step for a novice in linux , and will be very appreciates.if any more info is required plse let me know, and if you can direct me to support level as well … any help will do,regards,wilfredo

Okay, thanks for the information. I see that you have a dual boot system, and that Linux is install on the NVME drive using UEFI.

You are attempting to mount 4 TB of media, yet the drive “ROONSTORAGE” is a 1.8 TB SSD. Can you explain how you formatted this drive and if it is part of a RAID array / mirror or formatted by another OS?

I formatted that drives using rock , in ext4 format and loaded all the music wthin the network, and after a long week of interminable not recognizable or inestability uissues on the internal stororage I migrated to Linuxmint and install yhat drives into the sata slots in my server ,

It is not a dual boot system, what you see is an external drive with some windows stuff but i only use the music files on it, the same with the other external drive , The 3 internal sata drives are not mounted automatically , and dont know what to do ,When I star the system only the the linux appears on scrreen,and everithing looks ok, only the sata drives are not mounted and have todo it manually

if you prefer I could desconect the external drives and let only the sata peroblematic ones connected and start over again with the cpommands you told me before , yu say it

If I’ve understood correctly, the three Samsung SSD 870 contain your media files and were formatted using ROCK.

If so, please edit /etc/fstab' and comment the last line, starting /dev/disk/by-label/ROONSTORAGE. To do this place a #` at the beginning of the line using nano:

sudo nano /etc/fstab

# /dev/disk/by-label/ROONSTORAGE /mnt/ROONSTORAGE auto nosuid,nodev,nofail,x-gvfs-show 0 0

# Press CTRL-X, and Enter to save the changes.

Now restart the computer.

When you’re back in, let’s attempt to mount one of the drives, so open the terminal and type the following.

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/sda

# If the drive is listed, take a look at the content

cd /media/sda

now one drive is correctly mounted and starts ok with roon, now we have to go for the 2nd samsung evo to be mounted ,wait for instructions.thank you!

Okay, so I can set this up so all the drives mount at boot, please type the following in the console, and share once again.

In addition, if you have a preference for the mount points for each drive, please let me know, e.g., /media/flac, /media/mp3` etc.
