Hi @paul_christian,

Do you experience similar issues with non-Qobuz content at similar sample rates?

Can you confirm what kind of download speeds you’re seeing on your network?

Hi,
I do experience issues with Qobuz on their web player on high Rez music but only on 24/192 but with Roon it struggles on 24/96.
I’ve checked the speed of my internet and it’s 56 download and 19 upload, I use to have tidal and had the same issues through Roon

Same with tidal

Hi @paul_christian,

Thanks for the details here. Do you experience the same issue if you play to System Output of the Core machine instead of this device?

Playing through the computer it seems fine, click on the light it says source Qobuz flac 192khz 24 bit 2 ch then below it it says this PC Roon advanced audio transport then system output says os mixer but no issues

I’ve got cat 8 high quality cables going to netgear switch then to computer and I haven’t got anything else connected to the switch or the sky hub

I replaced my sky hub for a new one but still the same problems

I turned my firewall off from windows ten and mcvee but no change

Hi @paul_christian,

Since things seem to be working okay when playing to System Output, let’s take a look at the specific device you’re having issues with.

For the Chord M Scaler:

  • Please share a screenshot of Device Setup
  • Share a screenshot of the signal path when playing content that does work okay
  • Try bypassing the M Scaler and play to the Hugo TT 2 directly — does that work for you?

Hi Dylan, I’m off to work now but I’ll try that tomorrow and let you know thanks

Hi Dylan, I tried without the m scaler and it’s still the same, I’m waiting for a phone call from chord and the dealer for answers, I’ll do a screen shot on Sunday when I’m off work, I’ve found the Qobuz web player is terrible for distorting and much better through Roon but still not right but I really don’t think it’s anything to do with Roon now which is a blessing

Hi Dylan I’ve spoke to the dealer and I’ve changed the USB and put into 2.0 instead of USB port 3.0 and it’s perfect on the Qobuz player on all high Rez music but through Roon it’s still slowing down, can’t get my head around it
