Problems with playback of DXD files and DSD128 and higher on Roon ARC with USB-DAC

Hello.

The problem only affects playback on the Roon ARC player. I use on Samsung Galaxy S20 5G FE smartphone and Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 tablet. It manifests itself in the fact that either an unexpected playback error pops up, or even if you manage to play the music, after a short time the playback can automatically stop. It often stops when the screen of the device is turned off or when I switch to another application. Attempts to kill the application, clear the cache and sometimes restart the phone for a while help, then I am able to listen to part of the album, but the problem can reappear. Connected USB-DAC supports DSD up to 512 and DXD and is Roon Ready (iFi xDSD Gryphon). When working with Raspberry Pi (RopieeeXL), there are no playback issues on any kind of audio files. Roon ARC works a little better on a Samsung tablet, but I often turn off the tablet when I don’t need it, so the system is usually fresh there. But I don’t think that’s what the player’s operation is about, not to restart the device when you want to listen to music in formats or rates that are problematic for ARC?

Of course, I reset app once and wipe app data in system settings another time too. But to be fair, in the last two builds I can listen to music at all, in previous versions nothing could be done.

I downloaded an album in DXD format to the smartphone’s memory, hoping that it would help. Unfortunately, it didn’t help. With any action on the smartphone, the playback can stop (not always, but very often), an unexpected playback error occurs, I can’t do much on the device while listening. Even when I turn on/off the screen, the music often pauses. I feel like smashing my smartphone and USB-DAC on the floor. Instead of listening pleasure, there is only irritation.

There is at least 1,6GB free RAM on my phone.

After the last update, there are still problems with the playback of larger files than PCM 192kHz and DSD64, described above.
