Describe the issue

I just purchased a new Nucleus Titan and I have successfully transitioned my files and database from my older Nucleus. Everything is working well, but I have a question: Before I can send my older Nucleus back to Roon for a trade-in, I need to Reset it on the webUI. Technical support has told me just to connect the Nucleus to ethernet and power it up -- then go to the webUI interface and Reset it. Here's the problem (I think): you can't have two Servers selected at the same time with one subscription to Roon. Won't I have to select the Nucleus as my server and then login to my Roon account in order to access the webUI? Connecting the Nucleus to ethernet and powering it up, then entering http:nucleus.local won't take you to the webUI unless you've already selected the Nucleus as server and logged in to your Roon account. Should I power down the Nucleus Titan and then reconnect the Nucleus in order to Reset it? I'm loathe to do this because I have everything working beautifully on the Titan. I'm worried that I might have to unauthorize the Titan, re-authorize the Nucleus, and then reverse the whole thing again to get the Titan selected again as my server. Can someone from tech support outline in clear and sequential steps what I need to do in order to perform this Reset with the least amount of interference to the Titan setup that is already working well?

Not official support, but…

Plug in your old Nucleus to the network and turn it on.
Go to a computer and access the Nucleus using the Web Browser (not the Roon software).
Using Something like \\nucleus or \\nucleusplus

Verify that it is indeed the old Nucleus you are looking at and then use the Reset button as described in the FAQ to wipe and reset the database on that machine.

This process does not involve your other RoonServer at all, nor does it involve using the Roon program. It is all done directly connected to the Nucleus via the WebUI.

If you are worried about doing it to the wrong one, then turn off the new Nucleus One first. Reset the older machine, pack it up. And then turn the new Nucleus back on.

Hello @Mark_Salkind ,

I would also suggest using the WebUI to reset the Nucleus, you can do so by pressing this button:

Thank you for your advice. Yes, I was able to access the webUI and Reset the Nucleus without selecting it as a server or logging in to my Roon account.
