Roon is clever at some identification but downright dumb on others.
I had a frustrating time identifying a 2 CD set of Vivaldi concertos featuring Marriner & SMITFG. Both discs were identified as being disc 2 so I had hoped that once the genuine disk 2 had been verified and saved Roon would then realise the other disc was no 1, but no, it still misplaced it. I would have thought that Roon could “learn” about this but apparently it is not set up that way.
This situation has been encountered elsewhere in sets. It would make the identification task a lot easier if Roon “remembered” a correct identification which has been laboriously established by moving tracks up/down to match and I would hope this identification would feed into the Roon database so others would not have to repeat my exercise.
